I’ve lost a dividend cheque. What do I do?

At Vocus, we prefer to use the direct credit method for dividend payment and implemented mandatory direct credit in 2016, meaning that we no longer issue cheques for dividend payments in Australia. Payment by direct credit is secure, efficient and cost effective. It is used by many well-known companies and government departments to pay employee salaries and by many listed companies to pay dividends. The dividend will be credited to your nominated account on the payment date.

There will be no postal delays or waiting for the cheque to be processed. We will provide you with a statement, setting out the amount of your dividend, for your records. For cheques that were received and lost, contact our share registry Computershare Investor Services on 1300 850 505 (for callers within Australia) and +61 3 9415 4000 (for callers outside Australia) to arrange direct credit of the payment to your nominated bank account (within Australia).

If your cheque was lost due to a change of address or you would like to update your nominated bank account, please go to www.investorcentre.com.au to update your details.
